Looks pretty good, especially after X3, which I really hated. I even refused to buy it. I'll just stay with X1 & 2.

I am going to have to brush up on my Wolverine background though. I didn't recognize a lot of the characters. My brain has gone mushy with age.

Hell yes! I know there was Sabertooth, the Blob, Gambit, and I think the lady is supposed to be Silverfox. I know Ryan Reynolds is playing the role of Deadpool but I didn't see him in the preview. I can HIGHLY looking forward to this movie and I was always a Wolverine fanboy in terms of his origins and past involving the Weapon X program. And the cast they have has some really good talent. Liev Schreiber and Ryan Reynolds are both good actors IMO and will compliment Jackman well among the others. This does not look to be all too accurate to the comics per se (Gambit.....ummm ok) but it looks like it'll be very entertaining none the less.

Definitely looks better than X 3, which isn't that hard to do, but still.

Is this movie in the same continuity as the other X-men movies?

Ah, Silverfox. I'm not familiar with her, but someone else mentioned that she made up one of Wolverine's first teams (or was on his first team, something like that). I recognized the characters you did, Psycho (minus Silverfox), and I think the guy with the sideburns and hat is supposed to be Maverick, the fourth member of the team. I wish Gambit looked a little bit hotter (he was a fave of mine), but the very small action scenes with him in it didn't look terrible.

Rewatching the trailer, Deadpool is in it briefly. He's the one in red with the two swords when they show Blob, Maverick(?) and Silverfox. I also think a very young Storm is there, too. I don't know who the woman is that turns to ice though. That's interesting.

All in all, I'm hoping for a movie of Iron Man caliber.

I'm not sure if this will stick with the same universe as the rest of the X-movies, but I would think so, being put out that close together, and keeping Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

Although they can pretend that X3 didn't happen. That would be fine with me.

Yea that did look like Storm. Which would be interesting. She and Logan always were close in the comics. At least up until I stopped reading lol.

Alright! This looks exciting. And Hugh Jackman is made of epic win and smexiness, not to mention actually giving some of the best X-men a time to shine. (Nerd points for me for recognizing them, boo-hoo.)
